Designing and securing planning approval for a new roof, skylights and windows for the extension and alterations the rear elevation, and optimising the layout for the new kitchen and pantry.

The brief

The clients wanted the kitchen to truly be the heart of the house: a room to gather in, not just cook in. They wanted a much higher ceiling height compared to the existing extension and for light to flood in through new skylights and a much more open layout and dedicated pantry.

The approach

Having obtained planning for the proposed alterations to this unique Conservation Area home, we worked with deVOL on a bespoke green kitchen for this re-planned ground floor with beautiful new volume.
